Non-Stop Rock Talk with Tyson Briden
Season 5 - Episode 14 - Kevin Gale - Guitarist/Songwriter - Crowning Kings, Ex-Slik Toxik
Non-Stop Rock Talk proudly presents guitarist and founding member of legendary Toronto band Slik Toxik - Kevin Gale to discuss his latest rock n roll endeavour, Crowning Kings, the legacy behind the "green" Gibson Explorer and if Slik Toxik's "Doin The Nasty" will ever see a vinyl release.
In true Non-Stop Rock Talk fashion - a great rock talk conversation in regards to the recent Ozzy Osbourne farewell concert. Of course this episode was recorded before the passing of the legendary vocalist. As well there is a discussion on Megadeth and how Dave Mustaine is still going on about being fired from Metallica. The question is also posed as to why Sebastian Bach is not singing for Skid Row?
Tyson and Kevin also go in depth about a book Tyson recently read by Little Caesar singer Ron Young entitled "Judge This Book By It's Cover" . In this book, Ron Young is very candid in regards to the music business and Geffen Records mishandling of Little Caesar - this makes for a great conversation and a good lesson on how record labels really work.
This could be the beginning of an ongoing catch-up where Kevin Gale joins Non-Stop Rock Talk every six months to discuss what is going on in rock. A modern day "Rock Report" like back in the day on Toronto's legendary Q107 radio station.
